Roundtable Public Member Meetings
Roundtable Public Member Meetings are designed to engage and involve our members in our mission. Here's an overview of how these meetings operate:
- Frequency: Regular monthly meetings, typically held on the first Thursday of each month, with flexibility to accommodate special events or guest speakers.
- Format: 1-2 hour sessions consisting of a brief SGRT update, a featured presentation or workshop, and an open forum for discussion and networking.
- Scope: Covers a wide range of topics related to social entrepreneurship, community development, and current issues affecting the Houston area.
- Participants: Open to all SGRT members, university students, and interested community members. Encourages diverse participation from various sectors.
- Featured Content: Each meeting includes either a guest speaker, panel discussion, or interactive workshop focused on relevant social impact topics.
- Networking: Dedicated time for attendees to connect, share ideas, and form potential collaborations.
- Follow-up: Post-meeting summaries and resources are distributed to attendees, along with information on how to get involved in SGRT initiatives.
