Open Consulting Hours
Open Consulting Hours is a key initiative of the SGRT's consulting operations, designed to provide accessible and immediate support to the community. Here's a description of how it operates:
- Schedule:
- Mondays: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (CST)
- Fridays: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (CST)
- Format: Drop-in style consultations where individuals or small groups can seek advice without prior appointment.
- Duration: Each session typically lasts 15-30 minutes, allowing for multiple consultations during the designated hours. After a reasonable amount of time, an appointment should be planned for the experience of other clients.
- Scope: Covers a wide range of topics including business planning, marketing strategies, financial advice, and general entrepreneurship guidance. Because of the pop-up nature of this event, expert consultation is not expected.
- Staffing: Managed by the Consulting Team, with rotating schedules to ensure diverse expertise is available.
- Resources: Equipped with necessary tools such as laptops, whiteboards, and relevant business literature for on-the-spot problem-solving.
- Follow-up: Mechanism in place to schedule more in-depth sessions if required, or to refer clients to other SGRT services like Education or Community Outreach programs.
This service embodies the SGRT's mission of being a force multiplier for ideas and people, providing immediate, actionable advice to drive social good initiatives forward.
